Mask Policy Update!
On Thursday May 11, 2023, the Massachusetts COVID-19 public health emergency will end to align with the end of the federal public health emergency. Reading Pediatric Associates will follow Massachusetts guidance and masks will become optional for patients, visitors and staff as of May 11, 2023. In efforts to make our families more comfortable, if you would like for your provider to wear a mask during your child’s visit, please let our staff know. Our waiting room will still be open for healthy patients only. For sick visits patients will still be asked to wait in the car until a nurse or medical assistant calls them to come in the office. We strongly recommend that any patient or visitor with a fever, cough or exposure to COVID-19, wear a mask during their visit. As a practice, we will continue our dedication to infection control to ensure the office is a healthy environment for patients, visitors and staff. We encourage our families to continue to take prevention measures to keep our communities healthy, which include but are not limited to, getting vaccinated and boosted, masking, and staying home when you’re feeling sick. It has been a long three years but we are excited to see our patient’s faces and beautiful smiles again!
