Dear patients, parents, and families,
We are experiencing a very high volume of patients needing appointments of all types including flu vaccinations, well visit check-ups, and sick appointments. Due to the recent uptick in other illnesses such as RSV and the need keep everyone up to date with vaccines, we continue to be unable to accommodate everyone.
In an effort to continue to keep out patients safe, and to provide separation of well visit and sick appointments, please note that there may be limited time slots available. We try and allow ample time for additional considerations including extra cleaning and donning of PPE during the ongoing pandemic. Many patients also need COVID testing in order to return to school, work, and activities. This all takes a good deal of time and extra work for our staff.
We are doing everything in our power to utilize staff and have our secondary office open; however, please understand sick appointments fill up fast. There may be times when referring you to urgent care or a testing site (while not ideal), may be necessary.
We appreciate your continued patience as we continue to navigate the challenges of this pandemic. Please understand we are doing everything possible to be available, answer your questions, and have your needs met. Also, please call before a scheduled well child visit if the child develops cough, fever or other cold symptoms as we may need to reschedule to prevent exposure to other well children in the office at that time. Many of our patients are still too young to be vaccinated, so they are still at risk.
