In an effort to help reduce the spread of the virus to other patients and staff, we have updated our protocols. We are limiting patients coming into our office that have known exposure and COVID symptoms by assessing them through telehealth and then swabbing them in their cars. We are not currently testing anyone with close exposure but no symptoms. We strongly recommend doing home testing whenever possible but understand that there will be situations when a PCR test may be required.
We are aware the new policies may not be ideal, and we understand these frustrations, but as a practice we are doing our best to stay open and keep providers available to evaluate patients in the safest way possible during this surge.
We thank you all for your patience and understanding as we all get through these challenging times.
